Typically we have a minimum age of 8 years old for a child to paddle on their own. To paddle solo a child must be capable of paddling at a moderate pace for the duration of the excursion. We do offer a couple of tandem kayaks for a child to partner with their parent. If a child is small (around 4 years old), a parent can often paddle with the child in their lap.
